Unemployment is low across the educational attainment spectrum

The unemployment rate among those of all levels educational attainment is low. However, the unemployment rate does vary by educational attainment.

  • Persons with bachelor’s degrees or higher have the lowest unemployment rate among educational attainment categories. In 2019, 1.3% of persons with bachelor’s degrees or higher in Lincoln were unemployed.
  • In 2019, persons with less than a high school diploma have a lower unemployment rate (3.0%) than those who have attained a high school degree (4.4%).
